Well, according to your question... you said that 'he WAS mine'... the word, 'was' is there... so it means you're already done and you're already living your separate lives... if you really consider this person as your best friend, then, it's just natural that you want her to be happy... I mean, she IS your best friend, right? The main point here is... the guy chose your best friend...and well, trying to steal him from her (your best friend) is just pointless... and since you said that your best friend took him... it means the guy let himself to be taken by someone else, not you...it only means that he's not worth it, and so is your friend, but don't do anything like stealing him back, because, things will just get complicated, you know what I mean? If you believe in destiny, just let it do its thing... if he's really meant for you, then your best friend doesn't have a chance...hehe...I'm sure there's someone out there that you'll want and vice versa...^_^ ~this is just my opinion...~

He's not yours, dating is just an extension of an ongoing interview. If he choose your friend over you, somewhere somehow, your behavior was not consistent with what you portray in the first few interview.
Life is short and we must do our very best to find the one to spend our ONLY life with.
Let him go and if he is yours, he will come back.

Share it with your best friend and all three can be happy, especially him. Look at it this way you can keep him and also your best friend, although I think that something must had happen for him and your best friend to leave you out of it, so I would say maybe your best friend was not really best and him, maybe does not deserve you, but ponder it, and hope you be enlighten

First of all you need to accept the fact that he's not an object and, as a result, was never yours. If he doesn't want to date you, that should be reason enough to set your sights on someone else.
