Today, at my class car wash, i was wearing a red shirt and a pair of comfy khaki shorts. when i got wet from the car washing water, the red from my shirt bled thru and stained the shorts, which i had just bought yesterday! DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS HOW TO GET THE BLED RED OUT???? PLEAAAAASE????!!!!

White vinegar. A friend once suggested that when my husband and I accidently washed a pair of red-lined work gloves in with some lights. I noticed the red, but it didn't fully register.

A friend suggested that I soak my favorite kahakis (which looked like they had been pink tie-dyed) in white vinegar overnight. For the most part, it worked, but there was still a couple of small pink spots.

If that doesn't work, then you have a pair of shorts for the next car wash.
