From what I understand most pay in copies, but here is a list you might want to weed through.....

try to get your hands on the
"Poet's Market" book, published every year by Writer's Digest Books..."Poet's Market 2008" is due out later this year, but you can order "Poet's Market 2007", or try your local library.
This book list magazines by subject/topic, what they pay (exact money amounts at time book goes to press, or if magazine will only pay in free copies), contact info, examples of what they look for etc...
