Uh, Pro Bowl defense?? The Pats?? Are you crazy?
BTW, who honestly thinks that the Pats offense is on par with the Chargers or particularly the Colts?
The Pats are going to be the AFC East champs, but that does not mean much. Will they be in contenttion? Yes. But when they have a losing record against the Colts in the last two years (including blowing the BIGGEST LEAD EVER in an NFL Championship Game), I don't think they are going to run away with anything. Bringing back Seau and Brown will do nothing for them either.
Adding Adalius Thomas is great for them but when they play the Colts, is he gonna cover Marivn Harrison, Dallas Clark, Anthony Gonzalez AND Reggie Wayne by himself? And then be able to stop Addai out of the backfield, too? They still have major questions concerning their defense, particularly if they let Asante Samuel go. I don't see any really glaring holes with the Colts, as long as they shore up their running defense, they have the best offense, the best QB, the best WR corps and a hungry team that wants nothing more than to repeat.
BTW, a dynasty includes wins over HOF QBs, which Brady does not have. I mean, Kurt Warner, Jake Delhomme and Donavan McNabb?? No HOFers there. Guys like Bradshaw, Montana, and Elway played and beat other HOF QBs. Montana particularly took two other HOFers to school with his teams winning 93-26 against Elway and Marino, so pleassssse stop this crap about the Pats being a dynasty until they actually beat a team with a HOF QB who can actually test Brady in the Super Bowl.
But, I just don't see the Pats winning anything other than the AFC East.

If I have been the opposing coach, i could blitz them on each and every down, and need that I knock Brady out of the sport, because of the fact the Patriots ain't not something without Brady. which skill if he's healthy and does not have a foul interest interior the Playoffs, they're in all probability to win the super Bowl.

Since when does buying a bunch of free agents guarantee you a championship? The yankees have done this for years and it hasn't worked. The lakers added payton and malone to kobe, shaq, and phil and they were not able to win it all. Just because the patriots got a former 6th rounder (thomas) and a malcontent reciever doesnt mean they are going to win it all.

One pulled hamstring away from just regularly dominant on paper. That and every year there is at least one "when did they become good?" team and one "what happened to this former powerhouse" team it might not be as easy as you think.
(Matt Cassel is not bad, but do you really think he's a "Brady"?)
I'm a Patriots fan and the one thing I know about the NFL is they don't hand out the Lombardy in May.

I dont think they will run away with it. I think they have a great shot at winning it, but in todays NFL anyone can beat anyone and you can never predict injuries. What if Brady goes down for the season? DONE. You just never know. The Pats have a pretty tough schedule playing div. opp + SD@ home, Indy @Indy, Balt@Balt. Nothing is a cakewalk in the NFL anymore.

nobody runs away with anything in the NFL. ITs all about parity. That said, the patriots are definitely the favorite. and the moves they made in the offseason make them the team to beat. If I were a betting man, which by the way I am, my money would go on the patriots to win it all, by the way my money is already on the patriots to win it all.
