There is something galling about a person who gets rich in the U.S. and then turns around and bites the hand that feeds it. It's like a "jewel" in a pigs mouth, uncomely. He is free to slam the U.S. and if he were in any other country, he would be put in the slammer.

Aaron H - Thank you for your opinion, but it doesn't pass the "mustard", nor does it make a difference that you and mom know him.

Our prisons are filled with "good boys", so mamma says. That mama only sees the "wink and the smile", while behind the turned head of naïveté, a poor man's throat is swiftly slit.

Michael Moore is rebellious with an agenda to subvert.

Tell us how he has changed the health care system by his froward and lawless way?

you are absolutely right...i could not agree more. he would be in jail or dead in many other countries, cuba included, but he shows no appreciation for the rights and privileges that he takes advantage of everyday here in the U.S. if only we could vote to rescind citizenship, i think he would be long gone.

I am from Flint, Michigan, where Michael Moore grew up and the city of his affection in his films. My mother went to high school with him, my backyard in is one of his movies.

It's amazing how many people actually have no idea of the things does for people. I hear people (including fellow Flintites) do nothing but criticize him but completely ignore (or are ignorant about) the work he does that is positive for society and the welfare of those in need.

Michael Moore is exposing the dark underbelly of American society, so does Eminem (interesting that both are Oscar winners).

I attended a test screening here in Flint of his new film "Sicko" which is about the health care industry and the 45 million uninsured Americans. There were many people in the audience who were self-proclaimed "haters" of Michael Moore who, after the film, stood up and apologized for being so critical of him in the past, and that they had no idea of some of the things that went on behind the scenes.

You say that he doesn't appreciate the freedoms he has... OF COURSE HE DOES. Yet we have politicians who pass a so-called "patriot act" which severely limits privacy and personal freedom, many members of congress blindly voted yes for the bill when they didn't even read it.

Yes, Michael Moore is fat. So is Dick Cheney. Find a real argument.

Michael Moore is a true great American. There are two ways to get rich here, stealing from the poor or providing a useful service.

Mr. Moore's useful service is to educate the public on how the some Americans are stealing the wealth and even the lives of our poor. Don't think for one minute that going to Iraq wasn't greatly influenced by large military contractors. After all, what are a few poor kids lives worth when there are billions to be made! We have 8 new tragedies to add to our 3,500 dead and 20,000 wounded today. That is what happens when you have blind patriotism in a powerful country.

You must understand that criticizing your country and government is the definition of patriotism in the US. It's healthy as it keeps us questioning our paths. I think other nations would benefit from this same self-analysis and introspection.

And those of you who are saying otherwise, you don't really understand the democratic process. Cuba is cuba precisely because it DOESN'T allow Michael Moores. Duh! Stifle all the dissenter and the US BECOMES CUBA.

Did the founding fathers not question the British government? And in return the United States won its Independence. Michael Moore is doing exactly what every American should do, keep educating themselves and never stop questioning.

I don't think the Cuban economy could stand the strain created by his dietary habits! The man is a pig and the Cubans deserve better.

Do you Nazi's all own Moving Companies?

Everytime someone says or does something you disagree with, you tell us to leave the country, move to Cuba, move to Russia, move to France, etc...

And why do you all always say the same thing?

"Move to Cuba", "Flip Flop" (insert random Fox News talking point here and repeat ad nauseum).

Freedom of Speech guys: it's the first right on the list.

That little girl said Michael Moore was a great American . If that's the future, he can stay here and I'll move to Cuba, at least I'll get a tan and maybe by then Castro will be dead and I can get a job at a swank hotel .

The only people who like him are bleeding heart liberals. The man is a wart on the a.s.s of America. Cuba would be a great place for him to reside. Let him run his mouth there.
