I love this song. It is awesome about how they feel about the American President. I think the American President shoud apoligize to the Dixie Chicks. I also feel that all the Americans that banned the Dixie Chicks from the Radio stations should also aplogize to them. We are all human and all have an opinion. We can't all think the same now can we.

been a Dixie Chick fan from when they started with Wide Open Spaces and unlike their pseudo fans that turned their backs on them after they voiced their opinions on the president I still rocked them on they have more talent than most of the crap out there on the radio callin itself country music so i love the song and i love the chicks

I've always 'liked' the Chicks. In an 'enjoy them on the radio' way.
But since their Bush Blunder, I've really liked them.
I enjoy Not Ready to Make Nice (though it's not played all that often here) but really like "Taking the Long Way."

I like their music but the attention wh*** thing with the Maines/Bush comments and the nude posing for Entertainment magazine is way overboard. I'm glad they showed their true colors so we can pigeonhole them right behind Linda Ronstadt, Neil Young and whomever else wants to misuse their star status for political gains.
