Are you wearing a ribbon for Ben Needham too? He's been missing for 16 years.

I naturally hope that everything turns out well for Madeline, (she is not called Maddie by her family and will not respond to that name), you should not allow it to wreck your life.
Many children disappear, are kidnapped, or are killed every day, and, while Madeline has made the headlines, you should feel for all of them.
I do have it set up so I get a flash everytime a new news article with her name comes up, and I pray for her and her family, but, there is very little I can do but hope and pray for the best.

it is extremely sad i agree but u shouldnt let it rule your life at the end of the day there is nothing we can do about it and wearing a ribbon isnt gonna bring her home safely its beyond our power to bring her home as its not that simple!
i agree with the guy that said about the nspcc there are thousands of kids that die each year from abuse and neglect and loads of kids that go missing each year and are never found it bothers me that some cases are more highly publicised than others!
i dont mean to be rude and put a dampner on your thoughts but these are mine!

That is really sweet and I'm sure the family has been blown away with everyone's support.
I have question that I don't think is worth posting but maybe you have an opinion on it: Do you think it was a good idea that they released the info about it being her birthday on Sunday? Seems to me like her abductors could use that for emotional leverage.

In America we're not hearing it 24/7 as you must be in the UK but it's overwhelmingly sad and we can only pray.

That is such a sad and tragic situation. I hope they find her safe and sound, and bring her home to her family. My prayers are with them. It's heart breaking. :o(

Yes, I agree with you. It's been playing on my mind too - she's so small and must be so frightened. I hope with all my heart that she comes home safely.

I wouldn't get your hopes up, don't let it envelope you in it's tragedy. The facts are kids die every day from neglect and abuse. If you want to do something about it get in contact with NSPCC.
