A 1gig scandisk holds 1,024 mb of files. Or 1,048,576 kb of files. So take the size of an average photo (they will not all be the same size) and divide it into the appropriate number. You will then have your answer.
Depending on the photo size, quality level, etc., will be how many pictures you can fit. What is "Economy" for one photo program may totally different from another. Whether it is saved bmp, jpg, tif, etc will also affect size. So get the average for your files, and do the math.

Do you know the average size of the photo? Save one to your PC and find out, I would guestimate based off the resolution about 100. But thats on an average of 10MB file size. Just find the average, and divide that by 1024(1gig in terms of megabytes).

Its about 5.50 mb per 1 picture file with 1600 x 1200 pixel.
1gb = 1024 mb
1024 / 5.50 = aproximately 186 picture,
but it depend on compress method for picture file , i think minimum 186 , maximum about 300 picture.

hundreds.....it depends on the size of the photo file. one Gb= 1024 Mb. so if all your photos were 3 Mb in size, it would be 1024 / 3 = 341.33333 photos
