to make it a requirement for any national elected official to agree to be on webcam 24/7, except in the privacy of their homes? I can't think of a better way to eliminate graft and corruption, to take the power back from corporate interests and put it back in the people's hands. If they knew someone would always be watching, they couldn't accept bribes, favors, etc.

The problem is that some strategies, some agreements, need to be kept confidential until put in place. Otherwise, the opposition has the opportunity to make plans and counter moves. It sounds like a great idea, but unpractical in reality. I could go for it if the field was kept level, but there are always the sneaky ones who would find loop holes.

This kind of idea is dreamed by a childish mind that thinks that if it can just CONTROL EVERYTHING then everything will be all right - without regard to the fact that it will not work in the real world.

That is, unless you bring back the Soviets, Nazis, or Chicoms - or move to North Korea or Cuba; and, Binky, I don't think even you wanna go there, do you?!?

That's a dumb idea. They DO have a right to privacy and people should just learn to trust who they vote for instead of thinking everyone is backwards and corrupt. And there already are security camera's in the white house, board rooms, etc.

That would rather be annoying knowing you are on web cam 24/7

A lot would not agree with that idea.
