The dog kibble I tried was dry and crunchy - it reminded me of eating a freeze dried meal without adding the boiling water.

Dog biscuits generally (depending on the company) taste alright. They usually taste like chicken or beef flavored biscuits that didn't rise.

The only dog food that I have partly enjoyed is the little meat sticks (it's a little piece of beef or turkey jerky.) I don't remember which brands I tried, but most of them just tasted like unseasoned dried meat - they don't taste bad but you've got to be hungry to enjoy them.

Canned whiskas - vile. Putrid taste and a bit gritty.

Dog biscuits - VILE! So strong!

Some probiotic paste for rabbits - I was tricked into believing it would taste bland, and it didn't.

Hills Prescription k/d - yummy! The pate literally tastes like liver pate, which I like, and the minced version is like mince meat!

Basically - don't taste it unless it's for a dare and you're silly like me. It's pretty much all gruesome.

Bird food, it pretty much tasted like grains. It was a mixture of little seeds and stuff like that. Very crunchy.
Dog food, canned, looks and smells like meat and gravy, does NOT taste like meat and gravy!!!
Dog treats, I've tasted so many, and most of them just taste like cardboard.
I did try these one dog treats though and they tasted like crackers. Not bad at all.
Tried wet cat food once, tasted like unseasoned meat.
My rats food was pretty much just a mix of nuts, and dried fruits, didn't taste too bad.
