My sons name is Jaxin. I had a list written down of all the alternative spelling and here goes, Jaxon, Jacson, Jacsin, Jacsan, Jaxin, Jaxan, Jaqueson, Jaksin, Jakson, and Jaksan. Having the 's' in Jaxson isnt really necessary as Jax, when pronounced has an 's' on the end anyway. My other fav alternative was Jacsan. But spelling it Jaxin, Jaxan or Jaxon, means that it can be shortened to Jax, pronounced Jacks, instead of him copping the usual 'Jacko', which i personally hate.

Jackson, because I didn't look twice at having to pronounce it, plus I could only see a child with the name Jaxson whereas an adult can be named Jackson

I'm usually not for the crazy spellings of names. I prefer the traditional way. But in this case I actually do like the spelling Jaxson better. Good Luck :)

For a girl either is fine.
For a boy, JACKSON.... "Jaxson" is chick name.....and he will be teased forever with these spelling. And with good reason. If I ever meet a guy named "Jaxson" I will give him an atomic wedgie!

jackson it is more traditional so i like it better. jaxson is just silly like the toy or the dish soap, it has no meaning that way

Jaxson, simply because I have never seen it spelled that way. Spelling it that way is giving a common name a bit of uniqueness.

Definitely Jackson or he'll have to spend the rest of his life correcting people when they spell it wrong and trying to explain why his parents decided to spell it differently.

Jaxson. It's unusual and is never spelled that way.
