Alrighty, I know Mother's Day is tomorrow, but I still have no present for her. I have zero dollars, limited supplies, and I don't really have a way to go shopping right now. So, I need to improvise. I was thinking of making a scrapbook, but I don't exactly know how to make one without a book to scrap, you know? All I have is pictures...if that. If you have any idea on how to make that idea work, or if you have a better idea, your help is GREATLY appreciated!

Use any paper you have in your house (room?) for a picture frame.
Cut a nice shape in the middle of your paper and frame the picture.
Colour it, draw on it, use any crafts you are familiar with, (origami, cutting to shape and adding in a different paper, ....) to decorate.
As the time is running short, do only the crafts you have done before, so you will not need to restart.
If you have card-stock you can make a real frame, otherwise you just use the paper you have, so your mum can frame it in a real frame.
If you can not find a photo worth framing, make a black on white sketch of something your mother would like, or print a pretty picture from the web.
And give your mother what my mother always asked for, a sweet girl on the day, a little more helpful maybe, and less likely to dis-agree.

I'm sorry I am late with this answer. I just joined today.
But digitial scrapping is the perfect way to go. There are so many resources available right at your fingertips without spending a dime. You can even use Microsoft Word to create a scrapbook once you download some free digital scrapbook elements.
My favorite stores for freebies are GottaPixel.net. You'll need to post 30 posts in their forum, but just head to the gallery. Tons of great Layouts to comment on.
Digitalscrapbookplace.com
You've got the pictures, so that is half the battle. Download some fun elements such as Quick Pages and then use your photo program (Adobe, Microsoft Picture It, PaintShopPro) to create.
Let me know if this doesn't make sense!
Good luck!

Kacey,
Why not use typing paper or craft paper if you have it and make a Mother's Day coupon book. You could use crayons or colored pencils to decorate it. Just fashion a cover by making it whatever size you feel comfortable with by folding the paper and cutting it. Make the coupons smaller. You could include something like: One backrub, a foot massage, painting her nails, making her lunch, or doing a job for her you know she doesn't like. Then when you're done, put the coupons inside and put a single staple on the outside over at crease to hold it all together. Voila! a heartfelt gift costing little or nothing. Hope this helps.

Since you have no money this gift should be easy for you to do and your mom should love it.
Make her a blog/timeline telling her how much she means to you and talk about all the fun times you've had together. I used http://ourstory.excellentabc.com to make one for my mom and I think she will love it. It is free to do and you can get really creative.
Its like a scrapbook but its all online so it fits what you wanted to do.

Hey Kaycie,
All you have todo is get 2 or 3 pictures of your mom or of you and your mom with colorful papers and arraange them into a style that you like. glue them to the page. After that you can decorate the rest of the page the way you like.

Well,
You should take your mom out to dinner and tell her how much you appreciated her for having you.And take her shopping.Or just spend some quality time together and just talk.
