I used Permalife mulch, it's made from recycled tires and colored. You get if delivered right to your Home. Check out the web site.

Call yer local quarry and ask for some "21 a's". It's a realy fine gravel dust that packs really well, when you wet it a little!

kids swings? adult swings? gravel will cut and bruise if a kid falls off the swing....gravel gets into shoes and irritates....granite will cut and scratch...how about soft grass....thats safer....good luck

I would say crushed granite.
