It's alright. Depending on what you use it for. Intels are known for they're multitasking. 1.73 ghz is pretty decent but isn't great. I suggest Core 2 Duo and around 1.8 or above. More monies though.

Very good for now. The latest quad processors have just launched though. AMD will soon come out with their own quad's. AMD already has motherboards supporting dual processors, which will also support the quads. That means you can effectively have dual quad processors next year.

yes very good speed processor.
if u ever wish more speed
instead of thinking to upgrade ur processor u should
increase ur Ram.
1.73 processor is quite enough and now ur ram's increasing size surely increase ur pc speed
increasing more processor speed is not so effective as increasing Ram size.

there is a lot more to speed than just cpu speed (memory, disk, etc). Think speed of cpu is OK, do not caught up in the latest greatest unless you have money to burn.

Depends on what you use your laptop for.

That is sufficient for word processing, gaming, music, videos all the sort... also depends on how much RAM you have.
