that says my answer has been chosen as best answer,say i get 4 in one day - i logon & it says congrats you have earned 21 points (one for logging on) when it should actually be 41 points because i had 4 best answers............it does this often,so i never get all the points i am suppose to get.which sucks - cause when you get deleted,you need the points to level back up - or i wouldn't care.
just buggs me,does anyone know why - and/or has this happened to you?

yes - i am aware of the double emails glitch,these occurances are all from different individual questions....

i used to wonder the same thing and then i checked the dates. If u logon on mon nite , then any BAs u got sun. would have been put in ur score before midnite on sun.

I've been getting double e mails from Yahoo Answers, so this is most likely why. I am not an expert, nor do I work for Yahoo, but i will say that perhaps there is a glitch in the system somewhere, and that they will undoubtedly be working on improving it in the near future.

There is a problem with Yahoo's notification and you are getting two emails for each best answer, so if you receive 4 emails, 2 of these are just duplicates beacuse Yahoo never gets the system working right

I wondered that myself as it happens to me too. I wonder if yahoo caps how many points a person can get in a day from best answers or something. I'd hate to think their math sucks that badly.

Never happened but I do get a lot of them erased as well but I re-answere them just to piss them off bc they don't like my opinions and are single minded people some not all

Well lately they have been sending 2 e-mails per best answer. Have you been checking each e-mail to make sure it is actually 4 separate best answers?
If so I would write and ask Yahoo.

well your best answer get logged on at the end the day so they will be there the next day. unless if your on when your get chose as the best answer

I don't know but I had like 6 best answers (for individual questions) the other day and they only gave me 30 points.......cheapskates! >: (
