The remote trunk release is in a small storage pocket on the left side of the dash.When you open the pocket the botton is in the upper left side.Push the botton and the trunk will open.

my wife has a cobalt, she never knew she had a trunk release, it's actually on the left hand side in what appears to be a ash trey, maybee for storing keys. it's up in there, i say up cause it's at an agle and you may need to be eye level with it to first see it

On the left hand side of the steering wheel,down a little bit, there's a little "secret compartment",open that and the top left is a button,push it. It took me a few days to figure that out! lol

If it came with one it should be on floor board next drivers seat , underneath dash board, Look for a symbol of car with trunk lid open
