Hellooo,

I am trying to find a good place for contemporary fashion fabrics preferably fabrics with some stretch to them similar to the ones this ebayer seems to stock, http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZfabric_addictionQQhtZ-1

I am looking for fun prints like skulls, cherries, leopard/animal prints, hearts, rainbows etc etc. I have found a couple of online places with some skull bits but they are all 100% cotton and for my needs I really want some stretch.

I see these fab fabrics on ebay from american sellers but I have yet to find somewhere in the UK which has anything similar and I don't want to keep buying off american ebayers!

I live in London so anywhere round there or my parents are in the midlands so anywhere round that way too.

Please please someone tell me there is somewhere out there I can get some goodies from???

Thanks

As I am not living in England, even though I do come there often, I can not direct you to a chain or store.

But if you can not find one in the telephone directory, or with google or something like it (fabric+prints+store+London) try the tourist office.
They usually have a list of shops in their area or know which people to contact for store info.

There used to be a really good fabric store with unusual stuff in Basingstoke, but don't know if it's still there. You could try the yellow pages for that area.

I don't know about fabric stores in London, but you might want to post this question in the travel section--there are people there who really know the cities they answer questions in. You might have better luck in that category. Good luck!
