I know it sounds simple but here goes.
My then husband and I were separated...I was working as a waitress with 7 children under 10 yrs. old. We didn't have anything extra and I was feeling extremely guilty that I couldn't so much as afford to buy my kids the things they needed much less what they wanted. I felt horrible.
That Mother's Day my middle son was in 3rd grade...his class had put together a book called "I know my mom loves me because..." and each child contributed a page. I'm looking through the book for Peyton's page...dreading it...thinking "Please don't let my baby have to lie" because all the kids put stuff like...because she bought me Jordans, because she took me to Disney World...
I know it sounds crazy when I think back but my heart was literally in my throat because those were things I just couldn't do....When I got to my son's page it said,
" I know my mom loves me because she lays in the grass and makes pictures in the clouds with me."
I still cry about that everytime I think of it because it let me know that in everything I did wrong...I was doing one thing right.

I'm 15 (in 2 weeks) so I've got a bit more life to go lol.. but I love my whole life, I have the best life in the world! I like to think about what will happen in my life, as I know exactly what I want to do.
I have had loads of happiest moments. I think the best have been going to china with the national children's orchestra, all my other holidays, and being born :)
Also all the little memories like learning to ride a bike, learning to play an instrument e.t.c and coming back to your mum and dad after you've been apart for a long time.

Of the life that I have lived for the past 20 years. I would say the happiest moment was me and my husband's wedding day. The funny thing is that we didn't have a cake, I had on a beach dress, and our pastor was the justice of the peace at Lawrence County Courthouse in Alabama. Everything else didn't matter because love was all that we needed and everything just seemed to fall into place after that. Now, I am in nursing school making a life and my husband is in a very good line of work. We are able to take care of our families and take care of each other. That was the happiest since I knew that from that day on, I would be loved and taken care of and so would everything else.

I haven't yet been lucky enough to meet the girl I'm going to spend he rest of my life with, nor have I had a child yet. It's those two things that seem to be most people's answer here.

My happiest moment has got to be when I was 16/17 years old; I'd just been accepted for an Army University Scholarship and I was sat in my room doing my homework on the carpet. My parents were getting ready to go out in their room next door and my Dad called through the door/wall. Basically he just told me he was proud of me and that he loved me. That might not sound much to some people but if you knew me or my Dad you'd understand! - we're both very private and quite unemotional people. I'm not afraid to admit I cried when he said that, to be honest I think that was the only time my Dad ever said that and the only time I ever cried because I was happy.

I would say the happiest moment(s) yet would be the day my cousin was born and I saw him at 2 hours old and the day I saw my favourite band live for the first time, after waiting 2 long, long years XD

i would say i was happiest when I was a kid and had no responsibilities. All I had to do is play and eat. Those days are gone and now as an adult my happiest time was when my child was born, and also being able to raise my child each day.

Standing on a cliff top when I felt myself explode into a being without boundaries or any limitations and felt one with everything in the cosmos. It was an epiphany of indescribable proportions.

I felt truly and utterly at peace and filled with unconditional and boundless love.

Haha! How can yours have yet to come? You, of course, have had a happiest moment of your life, unless you lived your life with out ANY ups of downs, and lived permenently at the same state of happiness (whether it be good or bad).

Mine, btw, was when I was accepted to vet school, that.. ..was.. ..AWESOME!

Well, up until I now I would have said marrying my hubby, but I think it will be giving birth to my first baby, funny as it will probably be the most painful moment of my life too!!
