There are alot of english abroad jobs on the net but for the most reliable source of jobs, search for the website of the Chronicle of Higher Education. It is THE place to find an academic college level teaching job which you would easily qualify for with a Master's in English. I am in a Teaching English as a Second Language Master's program and I just saw several jobs in Saudi Arabia advertised by the Chronicle within the last week or two. They come with great benefits, a good salary and airfare but you usually have to sign at least a one year contract. Good luck with the job search.

If you do a Yahoo search of "jobs in Dubai" (without the quotation marks) you will get several sites. Also look on Dave's ESL on the international job board. I'm also looking into a job teaching in Dubai as well.

You could apply for jobs and post your resume online on some of the major job websites like Hotjobs,Monster and Careerbuilder. You can also search for jobs in Dubai on Craigslist. More information available at

Been there -- Done that. Don't go. You'd have better luck trying to teach an earthworm to sing the aria from "Ah Perfido" by Beethoven than teaching there.
