like which side do you know is the right and the left side and which is the front side and the back side?

I accidently took off all the wires before marking them and I have to find someone that has a 97 to a 95 chevy were I could see how they have theirs. I need to know what is the front and the back and the left and right?

The firing order, which should be cast into the intake manifold, for the chevy small block V8 is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. The firing order is the numerical sequence in which the spark plugs are fired. The insertion position of each spark plug wire around the circumference of the distributor cap can be found according to a clock face. The insertion sequence determines the firing order. The firing order is followed clockwise around the distributor cap starting from the 6:30 position with the 6:30 position being the number one cylinder spark plug wire

on the driving force section the cylinders are (the front to returned) a million-3-5-7 . on the passenger section, 2-4-6-8. Clockwise on the distributor cap a million-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. huge style one on the cap ususlly is pointing in the direction of no# a million cyl.

Remove the first spark plug in the firing order and make sure the cylinder is at top dead center when the crank timing mark is aligned. Then sequence plug by plug around the distributor to all the other cylinders.

first BEFORE you take anything off, take white out and number the ports on the distributer cap and put the matching number on the wire ends, then you will know that #1 goes in #1, etc.

or you can use masking tape on the cap and wires and write the numbers on their too, so they will all match up
