..........providing a means to knowing who we are, why we are here, where we are from, where we will go. Though some people deny this devine existence, even they, when faced with doom, hurry to acknowledge it.

The aquisition of this knowledge is an inner aim of all, for it offers our true divine inheritance: peace of mind
The dedication of our lives to this knowledge enables us our infinite blessings.

Life is not only a lesson in awareness of the self and the Divine... it is much more than that! Our soul atman within the body cannot remove the impurities on its own. To work out its karma... it manifests a body. Similar as the metal in an ore cannot purify on its own and requires the requisite mining machinery... our soul atman also requires a body (to remove the dross within).

The sole purpose of life is gaining release by the soul atman residing within our body. The final release... reaching the 8.4 millionth manifestation is possible after human being gains enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha). It is only in the form of a human being our soul atman within can finally liberate from the cycle of birth and death and go back to the kingdom of God having regained its original pure pristine form.

The journey of life... the cosmic life cycle of our soul atman within that has manifested the body gets completed in a total of 8.4 million manifestations (an earthly life cycle of 96.4 million years). This long journey in the life of soul atman is a single span of time. Intermittently the body dies and the family weeps bereaved... in the cosmic domain nothing ever dies... life moves on and on from one body to another.

It is only in the human form our soul atman reaches the 8.4 millionth manifestation. Never from heaven or hell can the soul atman directly go to the kingdom of God (aka Baikuntha in Hinduism). The form of a human being is the highest manifest stage in the cosmic life cycle... what more could the lusting human form desire!

From the very first manifestation as an amoeba (single cell formation) life further evolves into multi-cell formation, then insect life, plant life, animal life and finally the form of a human being. Our reaching the human form indicates one has crossed the cosmic life cycle of 7.3 million manifestations. Knowing our true inner self... becoming one with the Divine is the ultimate goal of life. We may desire or not... every human being one-day travels the spiritual path of life. More on meaning of Life - http://www.godrealized.org/what_is_the_meaning_of_life.html

certainly, there is not any divine and existence is to stay, no longer cover at the back of some mushy faith on the grounds which you're too afraid to stick your head out from at the back of your mommy's skirt.
