Within the parameters of your question, I would have to say "yes" and rightly so.
That would mean that the most powerful nation in the world had committed a criminal hoax against it's own people and the citizens of the world.
I don't believe it for an instant, though.

Oh yah, as long as the republicans are in power. Look at Iraq, what a big lie that was. They would have crafted the 911 incident into a terrorist scapegoat. I was 15 blocks from the world trade centre and I knew that the next 5-10 years more people would have to die...for oil money.
This is what scares people, not being able to drive their SUVs or their car for that matter if gas goes over 4 bucks/gallon. Most people I know in California and in New York care more about paying their bills and consuming more stuff that they buy on credit. War? What war...oh yes "how tragic".
I think the world lives in fear of the US, and what they will do next. Just my 2 cents.

In all honesty, I think that yes, the world would be living in fear... The world would be wondering what kind of Governments we had that would create such a conspiracy and be willing to kill so many people, etc.
For me, I would live in MUCH MORE fear if it turned out to be a conspiracy because I would never be able to trust those in the intelligence agencies, Gov't, etc etc ever again.
I don't believe it was a conspiracy, but I am curious what this Griffin guy has to say because I often find the conspiracy people way out there. :)

Conspiracy by whom: The CIA? Israel? The Illumimati?
What difference would it really make? The world (or at least some of it) IS "living in fear" of something similar happening again.
And, whether it was a "terrorist act" or "a conspiracy"
(and actually it WAS both, anyway) WHOEVER was responsible could do something like it again.

Of course the world would be living in fear. The idea that our own government would attack us. However, the conspiracy theories about 9/11 are completely false and idiotic.

Maybe.
I think that if there was incontrovertible proof that it was a conspiracy, Bush would be impeached, and tried for crimes against humanity. Furthermore, we would probably have an invasion to remove him from power if that didn't work (NATO anyone). So yeah, if it was true, then I would say the world would be afraid, and it would lash out by invading us.

Trust me most of the world is living in fear. Also if the media , which by the way is government and corporate censored, has their way we are all living in fear already.

It's common knowledge now that most Americans believe it was a conspiracy. Knowing that, the American people still do nothing. Kind of late now anyways. The American people have become a bunch of mindless, cowardly sheep. Anybody can threaten them and put fear into them now. Sad.

Any one that thinks 9/11 was a conspiracy, is a complete moron, that has nothing to do but smoke weed and try to justify their stupidity by bashing the truth.

If any historical event turns out to be conspiracy, we would live in total fear. Fortunately this is not the case
