1995 Chevy Blazer.
Radiator and heater core has been flush out, new water pump, Radiator is 6 months old, thermostat is new also. no water is coming out of my muffler but the air from it is very moist. no water is comming from the heater core.

There is cooliant in the system. After about 10 or 15 min engine red lines and leaks from the Cooliant resivor. Engine is still cold but getting warm. The heater core was changed 6 months ago. please help, im getting Pissed!!

thermostat is good i allready tested it with hot water......

Replace the thermostat again, just because it's new doesn't mean it's not bad. I have installed new thermostats that didn't work and had to return them and get another one.

One way for sure you can tell if you have a faulty thermostat, is take it out and put it in a pot of water on the stove. Let the water boil and see if it opens up. If it dont, you need yet another one.

You may have a bad head gasket that allows exhaust gas to enter your coolant system. A shop should have a tester that sniffs the open radiator during warm up and senses exhaust gases in the coolant.

I would start with a thermostat, I have had a few new ones go bad. Good luck with it.

How long has the new water pump been on there?

if your running programs you will get false messages

your head gasket could be bad

a part you put in might be defected or not properly installed

Thermostat is bad......Change it again.
Sometimes, you get a bad one........

Make sure you put it in heavy end down.

Drop it in boiling water. Does it open????
