For other uses, see Conspiracy theory (disambiguation).
A conspiracy theory attempts to attribute the ultimate cause of an event or chain of events (usually political, social, or historical events), or the concealment of such causes from public knowledge, to a secret, and often deceptive plot by a covert alliance of powerful or influential people or organizations. Many conspiracy theories claim that major events in history have been dominated by conspirators who manipulate political happenings from behind the scenes.

a typical individual will tend to be more isolated from the kinds of peer networks that grant access to broad sources of information, and may instinctively distrust any statement or claim made by certain people, media, and other authority-bearing institutions. For some individuals, the consequence may be a tendency to attribute anything bad that happens to the distrusted authority. For example, some people attribute the September 11, 2001 attacks to a conspiracy involving the U.S. government (or disfavored politicians) instead of or along with Islamic terrorists associated with Al-Qaeda (see 9/11 conspiracy theories.) Such charges may also be colored with political motivation. Similar charges (in some circles) were made that the Franklin D. Roosevelt administration was in some way culpable for the Attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941.

I think some crazy people flew airplanes into the world trade center. Everybody freaked out because they weren't expecting it, and wanted something to be done to keep this from this ever happening again. They did something stupid and invaded Iraq along the way, and now they're very stubbornly trying to pretend they didn't do anything stupid. Bush is different from other dictators around the world because he was actually elected by the American people (the second time around, at least) and he's out of there in a year and a half.

Well to answer your original question.. it was a bunch of pissed of Muslim fundamentalists. Not sure what you mean about the government not wanting too many questions answered.. since there is a struggle to get a lot of that information declassified. There are many reasons this information is classified including embarrassment to the the administration. i have a feeling once the Patriot Act is finally gone from our lives alot more information will surface.

What makes Bush different? he will be out in 2 year (YAY!)

And obviously people think he is a mistake, a 26% approval rating tells you that much.

So much anger, for what? The World Trade Center destruction was not an inside job, it was the work of terrorists. The buildings fell the way they did, because of the way they were constructed.

The towers were brought down with super high-explosives. That is why concrete, desks, chairs, computers, and people were literally vaporized to minute DUST particles!

Bush supporters won't use their common sense in this matter because they have been trained to believe that everything their government and the media it controls dictates to them is the absolute truth.
