because they are usually soft and sexy and usually Victorias Secret not fruit of the loom!

*shrugs* I never buy cheap panties, like "Hanes" or "Fruit of the Loom." They are always uncomfortable and ugly! I am a larger lady so I buy mine from Lane Bryant or Torrid, but I never pay full price (they can be $16 a pair!!). I always wait until they're 5 for $25 at LB... They're usually 3 for $18 at Torrid.

My guess would be because ours are made out of nicer material and have more detail such as lacing. And of course; we would pay more for things like that I guess. But you have to ask yourself, what is the point? Why pay that much if you're only wearing them for them to come off right? I don't know. Just a thought. Have a great day! :)

well, it depends what kind you get! if you get plain cut white underwear, it's obviously going to cost less than the pretty, lace trimmed ones, with detail that they sell at stores like VICTORIA'S SECRET. I'm sure if men get underwear from like Calvin Klein or Armani it's going to cost more than their average back or briefs at some drug store.

Same reason women's jeans, haircuts, perfume, clothing, and other products cost more than comparable men's stuff. Women pay more, so they charge you more.
They would happily charge men the same exorbitant prices if they could, but they can't so they don't.

it's so the industry makes more money off of women's boyfriends and husbands that wanna see them in those tiny things.. =)
oh, and boxers aren't so cheap either. they easily get up to $15 a pair, so you gotta wait until there's a sale, or you can by at an outlet.

They have us sold on buying matching sets so they can charge more. If you shop around, check out the sales etc you can get really pretty pants from a couple of quid.

Because we are willing to pay more, we care more about how they look, men don't.
For that matter men are willing to pay more to buy sexp panties for their girl then they are willing to pay for their own undies.

I think so! And the quality isn't as good. If you notice, men can own underwear for years! Sometimes that's not such a good thing! lol!
