Yes, I know that, so sadly, King Rat and Murphy have been sent to meet their Maker. Still, should they have been executed? What of Mad Dog?

I was not asking about Mr. McGuinness, nor Mr. Adams. Please stay to the subject at hand.

Mr Sceptic, Wright was convicted of threatening to kill someone, plus directed his thugs to carry out quite a number of murders.

Murphy was charged with attempted murder and known to have been the 'brains' behind the Shankill Butchers.

Adair killed random Catholics and was in prison numerous times. Plus the fool got himself involved in feuds with the UDA.

I could go on, but you get the picture.

Vdv_desantnik, am not looking to execute anyone (although with Murphy and King Rat is a moot point), was merely posing a rhetorical question. Again, I am not asking about others, only these three. Sean Kelly, Michael McKevitt and Brendan McFarlane should also share the noose

What I meant to say above is Sean Kelly, Michael McKevitt etc. are beyond the scope of this question. I've no opinion on them.

This so called "mad dog adair" is at the moment living in England at the expense of the taxpayer, yes the murderer has joined the ranks of the dole skimmers,he lives quite openly, protected by our police and does not show one scrap of remorse for his many crimes!

I dont think any terrorist should be executed as this only serves to create martyrs. People still go on about the likes of James Connolly etc etc nearly a hundred years after they were executed, yet when they are locked away in prison and people see how pathetic they have become they tend to lose a lot of support and slip from peoples minds. Although if you are looking to execute the people named on the list then perhaps the likes of Sean Kelly, Michael McKevitt and Brendan McFarlane should also share the noose. Your question only mentions loyalist paramilitaries but you need to remember that just because the others may agree with a cause you support it does not make them any less murderers

If we'd hanged them, we'd probably have hanged the Guildford Four and the Birnmingham Six too.

Their only crime was being Irish in cities where police were desperate to clear up an unsolved atrocity.

Let's not start the hanging debate, too many mistakes are made.
