Just try being yourself and try doing something for them for a change. take them out to a fancy place, go shopping or do a fun activity with them. they are bound to realize that you are giving and kind too.

People will always think what they will want to think! Let them! The ones that are fortunate enough to be your close friends will KNOW WHO you are! And from what I've read, you are NOT spoiled! (Well, maybe the car insurance payments might be a little bit on that side. ;) but the rest aren't). I would've reported that teacher who told me that! especially if she say that aloud in front of other kids! That is called defamation! Actually, I probably would've said, "Excuse me? ...and I don't?" hahaha, and probably get sent to the Principal's or Counselor's office. =( j/k. I would actually have added after, "Excuse me? I'm sorry that you feel that way, but did you know that I have had a part-time job since I was 15? and that I pay for my own gas? car washes? and also some groceries? I've even been buying my own clothes! Which part of that is being spoiled?" People are always gossiping! People are always stereotyping! Just because they see you in fancy clothes, driving a fancy car, they will either label you as a spoiled rich kid or your family is dealing drugs... depending on which part of the town you're from. Just ignore the ignorant fools. I would. I treat everyone as fairly as I possibly can, regardless of any preconceived 'gossip' or 'stereotype' that I may have heard from someone else. From there I genuinely try to become friends with everyone that I meet. They will become acquaintances first, and then hopefully friends. I have very vew 'close' friends but then I am a very private person. ;) ps. Perhaps you should wait until you get to know your 'friends' a bit better before you bring them over to your house. Sometimes though, they are just excited to be friends with the 'rich' kid or will often say things in jealousy. People are stupid sometimes. Forgive them. =P

OK maybe you should dress up to your "friends" standard and not try ot be all perfect! and then hopefully people well try to understand you better! i cant say i am rich but i sure in the hell know what it is like to have a friend that has more money then you and when used to go shopping together she would bye everything she wanted and i would just set their thinking what a brat... *****... and all that stuff so next you go out with your friends try to be more considerate and bye them something or put your money a way and just look no matter how bad you want that little black dress!

If you are one then accept it and move on..or try to correct yourself and stop acting like a brat...If you aren't a brat then show your friends that you aren't..And what kind of friends would think another friend is a brat? That is crazy.

Do not act like a brat. Think of other people first.

You need to stop acting like one...Not to sound harsh or mean. But money will not buy you friends. The kind of clothing or stuff you own won't either (well maybe for some people). So find out who you are behind the wealth...And start showing that off instead of material things.

Stop acting like a brat. Don't be materialistic, lower your standard, wear off brands, go to a thrift store..... do charity work with poverty stricken people.

If it's your PARENTS money, then no YOU are not rich. Spoiled maybe, rich , no. Who knows what you may become in your lifetime? You may have a minimum wage job for all we know. Just because your parents have money and have had a good career doesn't mean you will.
