Between a man and woman, who is the one that really wants a child?

I think its the mom or woman. Seems like it's every womans dream, goal or mission to be a mother one day but thats not every mans wish. Seems like they won't feel like a woman or lady until they have a baby. I'm 51 don't have and dont' want to be a Father ever. I'm okay. I know that the women do, I just don't. The women I meet are basically moms of 2 or more so they do not need any more from me. The job is already done by her HS Sweetheart, her former date or former husband. Usually the former date. Its a mystery to me to see womens profiles that say "Never Married has 4 children" How in the world did that come about. Everyone knows you don't bring children into the world without a married Husband. Thats his job only.

Most of the time it's the woman who wants a child. It's an intrinsic part of a woman's nature, make-up, to want children. God created women to bear and nurture children.

Your 51 and don't know anything or are still in denial about your generation. It is a well known fact that the "ideal" world that everyone waited until marriage before they had sex is simply not true. Sure it is easier and not uncommon for a woman to have kids and never get married. Personally I feel that they need to have some control over their sexual activities. But if they are able to care for them without the assistance of the government then let them have as many babies as they want. But do it without being a pain to society.

Woman usually want a child more so than the man. I would think.

I think it all depends on the situation, not all women are the one that wants child, in reality now a days, including me some women have their own career and because of this it will take us a while to plan to have family. In my case it was my husband that wanted a child or children after we got married. But we waited 5 years before I said yes to a baby. I have my own career, he was in the navy that always gone 6 months a year, and to have a baby without both of us is not what i called family. And this is from my own opinion sir!

I guess it depends. With my daughter, I had accidentally gotten pregnant and wasn't really ready to settle down and have kids. Then my baby was stillborn. I had gotten used to the idea, then I really wanted to have a baby. I got pregnant a year later and had my daughter. I had no thoughts or plans to ever have anymore kids. Then I met the man I'm with now and he didn't have any kids. He decided that since I was the woman that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with, that we should have a baby. He bugged me for 2 years until I said, fine let's try it for a couple months and see what happens. If it was meant to be, so be it. Meanwhile 2 weeks later, I got pregnant with our son. I had my tubes tied seeing as I was 38 at the time. That was 5 years ago and every now and then he still wishes that he would have talked me into not getting them tied so we could have one more.

Find a woman who can't have children. And there are a lot of woman to day who never married and have children. And in this time and day just because you get pg. does not mean the man will marry you. Most men run the other way.

It has been my experience that too many young girls want a kid "to love" and men are only to happy to supply the missing ingredient. No thought is given to the fact that a baby is a responsibility and a long term commitment. It is also my experience men only agree to having a kid (in marriage) because they want a steady, easy supply of sex. However men as they approach 50 all of a sudden decide that they want to pass on their knowledge and genes to a child and then and only then really want a kid. They just go find a young chick to provide the oven and usually treat her half decent. Guess you never got there. You haven't discovered that without leaving a genetic decedent of yourself that when you die your life truly ends. But that is OK, there are lots more people then I feel we need on this planet.

Usually it is the woman who wants children for real, the man usually wants a child because of pride reasons "this is my child" someone he knows carries his seed, stuff like that. I say if you say out loud that you do not want children at the age of 51 it is possibly because you do not want to pass your DNA down, then you can fill in your reason, you don't like yourself enough? you don't want the responsibility? you are selfish? you are not confident enough to pull it off? You are just plain not interested, the whole thing just eludes you.

i individually like those ones: Married men stay longer than single men, yet married men are a lot extra keen to die. a woman marries a guy anticipating he will substitute, yet he does not. a guy marries a woman anticipating that she would be able to not substitute & she does. a woman has the final word in any argument. something a guy says after it quite is the initiating of a clean argument. it quite is so real yet so humorous! i like it! and im happy i'm single now! hahahahhahaha!

Well for someone who is 51 your not to bright. Actually you dont have a clue,alot of men want a son to carry on his name. So dont put it all onthe women. alot of men dont feel complete til they have a child. To have a child, someone who has a part of you, who looks, acts like you is amazing. knowing that you made this little person. by the sound of your mantality, maybe you should consider getting a cat.

Women want children more mainly due to their biological clock and they also want a family. When a guy wants children it is usually for 2 main reasons, to carry on the family name and to have a family.
