they are renewable. Its just that it take millions of years to form them. thats why they are considered nonrenewable, because it takes so long.

Fossil fuels are classified as nonrenewable resources. Keep in mind that the term "nonrenewable" has nothing to do with the fact that fossil fuels that be reused, but rather with the amount of the resource available for use or the speed at which it is replenished. By definition, nonrenewable resources are those that either exist in a fixed amount or are used up faster than they can be replaced in nature.

They are renewable. All the road kill and other animals that
die out in the desert and other places have oil in them. In
there fat. It seeps down through the ground and gathers in
pools deep in the earth. It rots and forms gases and crude
oil. It takes like a million years or more. Nonrenewable is
a simple way to say what we use today is gone forever and
the world will need to wait a long time before there will be
anymore. Hope that helps.

fossils are old bones of animals that died ages ago and have been enriched and hardened by minerals in the soil. At the time they are non-renewable unless anthropologists and archaelogists find new sources. They take thousands of years to form and when they form the animals will have gone extinct. That why we don't see any dinosaurs around. It's like asking whether used gas from cars is renewable? No unless new oil deposits are found.

because you can run out of them.
Technically they are renewable
because fossil fuels are created
by the carbon from prehistoric animals and plants.
But practically and realistically they aren't
because it takes millions of years to turn
animals and plants into fossil fuel,
so if we use up all the fossil fuel right now,
we'll have to wait awhile for more
btw, I really have no idea what I'm talking about.

they r non renewable because after they r used that cannot be used again. and it takes the earth millions of years 2 create fossil fuels

because they burn up and the fossil fuels are gone, reneable fuel are something that will keep on going on until the world ends.

well they take millions of years for mother earth to make them. all of that fossil fuel is made from dead plants and animals.

Because once we run out it isnt possible to make any more without long periods of time, eg coal and oil, are finite sources and so non renewable

they are being made all the time. but we use them faster than they're being made. and it takes a really long time to make them. (But not a million years because the earth is NOT that old!)
