i usually take a heat gun to it to get it started, and then keep it damp, and start peeling it off,it wont come off as easy as it goes on that's for sure, and it leaves a real bad glue film on it but this will come off with vinegar and water and a razor blade, just be careful and don't scratch the glass or damage the rear window defogger lines if it has them,it will take you some time to get it off,but it will come off, good luck with it.

It depends on how old the tint is, too. I had a '91 Corvette, and the idiot before me had two layers of tint on the rear window. The tint had faded to purple from years of sun exposure, and the sun subsequently baked the tint to the rear window. I got the first layer off using some kind of spray (it had a citrus base...) that my dad picked up from ServPro. (He works there..so yeah) That ate right through it, so I imagine other solvents of a similar type will work. However, the second layer was baked on from the sun. So in all...
1.) Depends on the tint's age.
2.) Depends on how much sun exposure the tint has had.
Just DON'T use a razor.

if you have the rear window defogger it is tough, you can buy a spray that will loosen up the tint, I believe nail polish remover also works but may also ruin the defogger wires

There is no easy way to do this.
Windex and a razor blade scraper.
And a lot of patience.

if you can get your hands on some brake cleaner, spray it on and it will peel off like butter.
