Some teams give them to everyone in the organization (within reason--I mean the mail clerk is left out, surely?). But for sure ALL of the players do.
So that creates some odd facts:
QBs with Super Bowl rings:
Tommy Maddox (Backup for the Steelers)
Jim Sorgi (Backup for the Colts)
Drew Bledsoe (Backup for the Patriots)
Tony Banks (Backup for the Ravens)
Joe Germaine (Backup for the Rams)
...I think you get the picture...
Now here are a few who do not have rings:
Dan Marino
Jim Kelly
Steve McNair
Fran Tarkenton
and on and on.
Isn't it ironic?

Well Bizrack keep in mind Maddox is also the only QB with an XFL Championship. I didn't like him, was a Kordell fan, but you have to admit he did good his first season back into the NFL. He won Comeback player of the Year. He may have beat the Titans had they not been paying off officals that year. Wasn't that the same year of the Music City Miracle(it's a Miracle the refs didn't see it was a FORWARD LATERAL) and then the kicker who faked he was hit and drew the flag and admitted himself he should have got an Oscar for that.

Yes, every one gets a ring, it is after all, a team effort. They had to chip in maybe at one point in the season or even on special teams.

It was Ederrin James. He wasn't playing for the Colts in 06, but the owner still sent him a ring. Dylan E got it right first.

Yes, they are all part of the team and they all prepared the 1st team and sometimes played at one point. So it would pretty much be unfair. All the coaches get one too.
