Water is recycled everyday through the water cycle. The sun evaporates the water on the surface, clouds form from the moisture in the air, it rains when the temperature reaches the dew point, runoff occurs on the surface and evaporation again.
We recycle water as we pass water through a water treatment plant. Waste water is treated before it is released into the streams and water is treated as we draw water from a river for fresh water.
Only about 1 % of thewatger on the earth is drinkable. The rest is i sea water, icebergs, water tables and etc.

I assume by recycling you mean human processing the used water so that it can be used safely again. Yes, it can be recycled, and it is done all the time. However, there is a practical limit where it becomes too expensive to recycle to justify the usage. That said, if money were no impediment, any water can be recycled.

I am teaching my fourth grade science class about this exact subject. Water is consitantly being recycled. It is called the cycle of water. The three main parts of a circle ...precipitation, evaporation, condensation, precipitation, evaporation, condensation, precipitation, evaporation, condensation, etc... This goes on all day every day, and has since the beginning of time. A glass of water you drink today could be the same water a dinosaur drank when they inhabited the earth. Hope that helps. LIZ
