Definitely BOTH -

the dollar has PLUMMETED over the last few years, and people around the world couldn't hate us more....

No to both.

The people who don't like us because we liberated Iraq from a tyrant didn't like the U.S. beforehand. And more and more people are coming around to realize we did the right thing, as evidenced by the recent elections of conservative, pro-American governments in Canada, England, Australia, Japan, Germany and France.

As for our finances, our economy is as healthy as ever. The government is not having to sell war bonds as in WWII, and we're ahead of schedule in lowering the federal deficit while keeping a strong GDP.

Both and the sad thing is that it will take a bit to get us back in good standing with the World like we once were. Soon as we get that "Cowboy" and that "Greed Freak" out of the White House and a sensible, diplomatic President elected, it shouldn't take us too long to climb our way back to where we once were...A Great Nation!

Both. Financially the US has spent billions of dollars for this war with troops, weapons, housing, etc...but there is no definite outcome. I do feel the troops need our support financially and spiritualy but the war itself is lost and Iraqi goverment has not done anything to improve itself.

Reputation wise, other countries think were crazy. We started the war for one reason (weapons of mass destruction which turned out to be false) and now are fighting for another reason (Georgie Porgie vs the terrorist). It's a mess!

For the 3 people that do read this pass the message- you don't have to support the war but please support our troops!

We have spent billions on an unjustified war and have damaged our reputation abroad. And what do we have to show for it? Nothing but death and civil war.
