We planted it 6 weeks ago everything else in the garden is blooming, this tree still looks like a stick, but the wood is green though.

Are you watering enough?
It might take atleast an year for this plant to grow!

you need to hire a specialist arborist and not take opportunities - years have no longer something to do with production of fruit - it is the way of the pomegranate - some years appropriate - others a gloomy crop! relatively sunshine and water are considered necessary. faucet roots of this tree are very reliable and don't pass that deep yet selection to the full circumference of the wood mantle.
