When DIDN'T I hate rap music?!? Can you rightfully even call it music? It's bass-beats backed with thugs grabbing their crotches and carrying a quote-unquote "Rap Sheet" a mile long with them. All they do is sing about 5 general topics 1) Gettin' Rich 2) B*tches and Ho's 3) Bling Bling 4) Henny and Cristal ( it's Hennesy by the way) and 5) Clothes.

The main thing to remember is at least 75% of all rap music after 1992-94 is sampled riffs from already succesful rock acts. No better example than Puff Daddy, I mean Puffy, or is it P.Diddy , oh wait I know just Diddy! (Wait didn't he get sued by a British artist for that name and lost?)

As the old saying goes " You can't spell CRAP without Rap!"

It depends on what you consider rap.
If you consider 50 cent, and Acon rap then yeah rap sucks now days. I like the oldschool rap like DMX and Biggy.

rap music is ok when i go to bars and clubs to dance with hot girls. But I dont buy rap albums. I only buy alternative albums like Linkin park.

Well the state of Hip-Hop and Rap is kind of terrible. There's way too much bragging about bling, money, cars and clothes and all of the disrespect towards women by calling them hoes, and b!tches, and s l u t s. What Hip-Hop needs is more rappers who focus on lyrics instead of all of the materialistic aspects of the money and fame.

y in the world would i hate such a beautiful thing.u hear all the hype in d media that rap songs r doing blah,blah ,blah to the youth butno 1 eva remembers all the serial killers who listen to all these rock music n say the devil told me to kill thru d songs.

I never did like it so it dose not matter but what bothers me is everyone complain about the language in them I have three words BILL OF RIGHTS, I understand that kids listen to it but how hard is it to turn the channel of the radio station or TV or to take the CD away

I guess I could say I hate mainstream rap now but I love hip-hop. Underground. That's, in my opinion, the best out there.
