Some computers may already have the recovery partition on your computer and could be access when it starts, mostly right away, by pressing F10 or F11 ( turn on your computer and press this before it goes to the loading screen). That would access the System Recovery and this would go to when you bought your computer and would delete everything you have and restore the settings back to standard. If there's no Recovery partition on your computer than you should have a CD that would do this or order the CD from the company of the computer. This would do the same thing.

You can use System Restore - start > all programs > accessories > system tools > system restore - this will put your pc back to how it was as new removing all of your settings without having to reformat the hard drive or reinstall anything. However, if you are doing this before selling the pc (as opposed to doing it and then keeping on using it yourself) you need to delete the restore points first so that the procedure cannot be reversed and the user putting the pc back to how it is now. This too can be done in the above steps.

When you bought your computer, it should have come with several restoring disk. It will delete everything on your computer and restore it to it's original factory setting. :)

Look for your restore CD's that came with the PC.

If you don't have them then you could just call the company and ask them to send you some since. it may cost you some $ and shipping.
