Even though he's won the MVP title that really isn't going to change the way he feels about the Playoffs and losing in the first round series to a team coached by the Mavs former Coach Don Nelson who knew evry trick the Mavs were going to pullout

The N.B.A should stop the BULLS#@T.First of all the MVP voting should wait until after the season, because way to often the MVP of the season is watching the Finals at home.As a Fan I want to see the mvp of the season last the whole season.Secondly why Dirk?He can't be feeling good about his play in the playoffs.MVP of the season should be ready to go.There were a few players that could have won this award. Why not Kobe he lead the league in scoring, and was the best player on his Team.Sorry to say there is a "whitewash" going on in the Nba.Like it or not I think the NBA is to concerned about their image around the world. The complexion of the game is changing before our eyes.

He deserves it, the MVP is for the regular season. The man was dominant all season long, he rebounded, made tough shots, and got everyone on the team involved. But in the post-season is was a different story. If the MVP was based on the regular season and the post-season, then Nash might have been MVP for the 3rd consecutive time. And as for the Dallas comment you made, I'm a Dallas fan, and NO we don't feel like ****.....we feel like the Mavs could have done better, but we still applaud them for there record season. We will be back next year fighting twice as hard.

Hey dumbfucks MVP is a REGULAR SEASON award!!! Stop trying to use the monstrocity that was the playoffs as a valid excuse for him to not deserve it. If youre in anyway remotely close to a real fan of the NBA youd know that. Stop crying. Just cuz Nash Browns isnt in the same league as the greats who received the award 3 years in a row doesnt mean Dirk isnt worthy of his first

Not really, nobody watches basketball anymore anyway. Their are only 3 or 4 teams in the league that actually play team basketball. Usuallyit is an isolation play every time down, followed by a 360 spinning dunk, a hang on the rim, mug for the camera, and now can I get a shoe deal? The same reason the US loses international team competitions in a sport we invented. They don't know how to play as a team, just for a shoe deal and a multi-million dollar contract.

he didn't deserve it. who wins an MVP averaging 24 points and 8 boards? really!?!
his team won 67 games, but under that logic, Chauncey Billups should have won the MVP last year when Detroit won 64 games.
Steve Nash was the more deserving individual star, averaging career highs in points and assists. they just didn't want to give it to him 3 times in a row.

Nowitzki is one of those player who does step up to the plate every now and then. I would not go as far as calling him comparable to guys like Jordan or the like, but he has had a good year this past season but it seems that the NBA wanted to give it to someone else other than Steve Nash.
