india might have finally found their true rival, both teams are very well matched.. with equally good talent.

it would be interesting to see if india can rise above all the minnows.

Bangladesh has a few young energetic cricketers.OK.
Apart from India they have also beaten South Africa and Australia once recently. Does that mean that they are equal to them. They have yet to close the gap further to reach that status and be on par with the top 8 teams incl. India.

Satirically the Answer is Yes, India and Bangladesh are pretty well Matched teams seeing the last two ODIs where India won both and the series even before the third one would be played tomorrow 15th May at Chittagong (if weather permits, we heard on Radio that cyclonic storm would lash Ctg soon).

It is amazing to see how the Indians were being sweated by the Bangladeshi minnows in the last two ODIs played on 10th and 12th May in Dhaka; these scenes were unthinkable to watch even one year ago.

So, in a way these two teams are 'matched' for a short duration of time though. India could get back to its old form within next three to six months when Bangladesh would again have to respect the Indian cricket might as before!

While Bangladesh cricket has improved a lot in the recent past, they have not been able to perform at the same level consistently. Irrespective of their upset victories in the recently concluded world cup against India and South Africa, I do not think that they can be compared as equal to India as yet.
