Yes, of course. A West-European country won last year. Why wouldn't one win next year?

I think people are overreacting about an East-European song winning. Let's face it, it was a good song and a whole lot more ambitious than many of the West-European entries this year. People are shocked that so many East-European songs were in the top results, but in my opinion they were simply better this year. Next year may be different. I believe the rest of us still have a chance if we just bother sending decent entries or think of something original that will catch some positive attention next time.

Of course... yesterday i was thinking Belgium was going to win but alas... we did not even get selected lol
