What would be the best and cost effective hurricane shutters to buy for a second floor condo sliding glass doors that i could shut from the inside( no outside access, only enclosed screen porch) Thank you.

I would suggest that your purchase should be based on performance, and not price. If you think cheap, and a class 5 hurricane hits, cheap shutters will be sailing in the wind. Good luck!

I run a 75 unit condo in St Thomas...we installed the aluminum panel accordion slide close shutters...Storm King made ours but there are a bunch of people building to that design....when closed they form a zig zag......its a bit of a pain to step over the bottom track on the porches, but we've had two major hurricane here since with 0 damage.......

put shutters on! patio doors will oilcan in the wind till they pop out of the tracks, metal frame and all!.... and now the storm is in the condo with you......Not Good!
