If your broadband modem has a removable antenna, you can replace that antenna with a more powerful one. If you can't replace the modem's antenna, then you will need to set up a WIFI router. They broadcast a much more powerful signal.

Another option is to place the modem/router as high up as you possibley can. That in itself can effect an improvement similar to fitting a superior aerial.

Again if possible move the modem/router to a place where it has a better line of sight with the garden.

Are there any large metallic objects in the way, these can reflect and bounce around radio signals.
