Happy Saturday to you too! :) I don't think you can because of the rubber. Maybe, if you put it on low heat or air only...but, I've never done it. :)

I feel your pain. And I have 3 dogs, so I'm smelling the carpet, too. You're right, carpet isn't the way to go. Actually, you could buy commercial-grade carpet. That stuff is tough! But if you don't want to consider carpet at all, and don't want vinyl, there are hard-surface flooring options. Hardwood is gorgeous, but expensive, and it CAN scratch. If you choose hardwood, you MAY have to refinish it at some point, but it's a good investment, and excellent for resale. Laminate (Pergo, etc.) is good with dogs. It LOOKS like wood, but it's pretty much indestructible. It's not considered an "upgraded" flooring surface, so if you're thinking of selling your home anytime soon, it won't be a good investment. But it's not that expensive, so it might be the best value for the money? Tile ... well ... you love it or you don't. It's tough and hard-wearing, but keeping the grout clean is a chore. It's also a hard, cold surface. I personally would go with the Pergo for now ... I'm not moving anytime soon!

I think hanging it is the direct sun would be best! It should dry in a couple hours! The dryer might get to hot melt it or twist it out of shape to mention it is to nasty to put in the dryer! Even if you do wash it it never gets all the sand and much out!
