It seems that the people that like to operate outside of societys mores like to promote political correctness at the expence of freedom of speech. So is politcal correctness just a way to install evil in society without anyone being able to say anything about it.

POLITICAL CORRECTNESS HAS LEFT THIS COUNTRY HUMORLESS. WE CAN'T POKE FUN AT ANY BODY WITH THE EXCEPTION OF WHITES, MALES, CONSERVATIVES & CHRISTIANS. IF YOU POKE FUN AT ANY OTHER GROUP YOU ARE A RASCIST, SEXIST, BIGOT OR HOMOPHOBE.

"Political correctness" has frankly lost all meaning to me. It began as a term to mock the idea of left wing dogma, the kind of humorless and over-the-top nonsense that made anything vaguely European and/or Male guilty by default. But now the term is used slavishly. Not wanting poison in my drinking water is political correctness. Objecting to public figures hurling racist slurs is political correctness. Questioning anything any Conservative asserts is political correctness.

Bah! If you have a SPECIFIC complaint about something SPECIFIC, bring it out. You probably do. I know I've got plenty. But please don't toss it all into some vague category that means everything and nothing, then use it to make wild accusations.

What are you talking about, anyway? I don't know. Calling young black women "nappy haired hos" or hinting that Mormons don't believe in God? Me, I find both pretty vile. But I find the habit of sloppy thinking even worse.

I prefer third party candidates, but when I choose between either the GOP or DNC, I typically choose a Democrat over a Republican. It all depends upon the candidate's issues and their stance on those issues. Fundamentalist Christian. From a Biblical Standpoint, I feel that the DNC is a lot closer than the GOP to the principles shown in the Sermon on the Mount and in the book of James. To me, that's more important than their stance on family values. What good are family values when poverty disintregrates the family?

Wow it think your use of the English Language is about as bad as I have ever seen, however, I agree with your sentiments. Political correctness is a code word for not calling something what it is. The thought police are trying to sugar coat bad behavior with sweet sounding names but a rose by any other name. . .well you know.

Political correctness can become very ridiculous at times. I think that if you don't use socially hurtful words towards minorities that deal with discrimination all of the time, you should be alright.

You could equate PC with evil. A better way to look at PC is that is a tool to bring radical change to the American culture and political structure. Secular progressive agenda's can not be advanced as long as free speech and honest debate are present, PC would stop that.

All PC has done is declare all are victims expect Conservatives, White, Male, or Christians.
If you meet any one of the above you are fair game.
Need an example
Imus was fired for what he said about a basketball team. Lost his job under the banner of PC.
Yet someone who talk about raping Rice is given a free pass.

Go figure.

Political Correctness (saying it's wrong to tell the truth about Bush (AKA "Bush Bashing")) is allowing for evil to happen.
