While India have won the series against Bangladesh, these wins have not been comprehensive and lot of thinks need improvement in the Team such as bowling by the medium pacers, fielding and batting of top order batsmen. Anyway it is good to see that they have won the matches without the stalwarts like Sachin Tendulkar, Saurav Ganguly etc.

Actually india have become no.1 in odi rankings before, it was in 2009 during a 7 match odi series against Australia. They lost the 1st match but came back and won this next two and became no.1 after the third match. But it only lasted for 1 day since they lost the reminder of matches and thus the series as well. Now india are going down the hill and are not pretty much the same unit which won the wc. If their batting doesn't click its going to be a very bad day. As pak skipper made the statement india doesn't have world class bowlers in their squad, they don't pose much threat.

To answer the first part, I would say they have not done full justice to their potential, despite this they won the series. To the second part, I would say that the Indian team was never under any serious threat or pressure to press home the advantage and Bangladesh were never in the chase after they lost wickets in a heap in the initial hopes. Mind you, India played only with two medium pacers and they didn't require their services in the slog overs. It was a good experience for the spinners to bowl in the 'death' as they say. That the Bangladesh tailenders treated the Indian spinners to some lusty hitting should be enough experience for them to learn how to handle such situations against much stiffer opposition. So the win by 48 runs was justified under the circumstances.

Tomorrow morning the first test will start in Chittagong. The way you are thumping your chest even after tough win against Bangladesh, I would be very apprehensive what will happen to you if by any chance Bangladesh can make an 'upset' win against India (lol).
Take it easy and enjoy the game. After all, this is not between India and Pakistan match which is full of dynamite and needs a little spark to get ignited. India is playing against a minnow whom the Indians were sneering a few years back as not worth their cup of tea!
Hope you will enjoy the two test matches.

Well, first of all we made a lot of fuss about a series between a) country finishing 7th in world cup and b) country eliminated in the first round. Now when the series has reached a very predictable end we want it to be a crushing win and be so dominant as to clear Bangladesh from the cricketing map.
What is wrong with us, I have recently heard a news of People Building a new home for Dhoni after his knockin the first match. These are same people who threw stones after india's Exit from the competition. When will the people learn to take it as a sport and not sumthing to give or take life for.
I think Indian team has made a recovery and let the boys play for some time they are themselves in a state of shock. Also do remember when a bowler bowls he is expected to forget what player is he bowling to, similarly all fans should forget which team we are playing against just watch the match to enjoy, the victories will taste sweeter and defeats less sour.

INDIANS are far better team than AUSTRALIA in these conditions.
My dear friend BANGLADESH IS NOT A TEAM IN COMPARISON with INDIA because of the poor rules and favourable conditions they can upset any team in the world on a blue moon day.
MY sincere advise to you,Do not get involved too much it is JUST a class TEAM playing a B grade team.
Relax and enjoy INDIANS trashing them.

An easy victory has been made to look laborious.
A good player that he is Dravid has failed to take some right decisions. He has simply allowed the game to end by itself.
Did not try to bowl them out by withholding the fast bowlers.I feel he must be more tough and should not give anything away.

To discuss on probabilities is like living in fools paradise and you dont get a dime out of it.No one crush any one in games and sports.Any defeat or win is for that day.Next time,. tables turn. Our thinking is magnified and glorified by commercials, and not by realities.Dont glorify individuals and insult team spirit. All games, all days must be played seriously till the last ball is bowled.
Stop looking for scape goats and blame coaches. In mahabharata Kouravas blame Dronacharya for their incompetence and jealousy. They have not learned any lesson from any body including Eklavya for whom the idol of his guru was enough to master archery. Our sena thinks they are all Hanumans but only his followers----- M-

Look a win is a win.
Noone can just underestimate a win.
whether we win by 46 runs or 150(as you say) runs.
instead we should pat the backs of our boys for coming out of the world cup trauma.!
We should not forget the debut of piyush chawla .He would be heartbroken if he hears anything like this.
lets not underestimate our boys and lets hope we could kick out the australians of their so called monopoly on the world cup.
