Illegal immigrants are people who want a future as much as you and me. Thats why they have there homeland to start a new life. Britain has conquered many places (Africa, N Ireland, Middle east) through out the world, in an aim to prosper from a country(s) resources. You could say its much the same as a person from another country to coming to set up a life for themselves. What do you think?

Being a British Indian
I can see how India has suffered under the British Raj but also how Indians have been used as fodder in wars
Being vast and having its resources depleted was just a fact that we were going to have to get used to but in this century the immigrants from there have worked hard to prop up the economy as we have become professionals and work intensively within the British white collar areas
Industrious and determined we have risen to the top of our professions and done alot to be valued members of the society
however illegal immigrants that come here to sponge of the state and our taxes are a bind and must be dealt with effectively
There is no excuse for parasitic behaviour and many people from the EEC have used this body to migrate here and pose a problem for everyone

I entirely agree they are searching for their pot of gold at the end of the Rainbow.Everyone is seeking something, but unfortunately they still have to observe the law .They will be deported if they ignore the immigration laws. The different culture groups that arrive in Britain must go to college and learn English and work part time to remain here on a 6 month Visa. The laws are there for a reason ,particularly concerning health. Because of illegal immigrants and groups being allowed into the country who have not declared health problems, we now have T.B. back in the country, there are 15,000 sufferers, remember that these people have spread this disease to the English communities because of their contagious status. They do not reveal this problem until they are in the country and by then it is to late. The Europeans do not need visas and are free to go where they please.Thumbs down voters, do not refuse to listen to the truth, would you like to go into a hospital room where there is a T.B. patient who is highly contagious , because you are being told it is part of your job ? How do you think your family would feel about that ,would you worry about your children becoming infected? This is the truth of the situation !

Why do you use the word "or"? They are both at the same time. The problem is that you don't break the laws of a country and then expect to be welcomed with open arms. Their motives are certainly noble (who does not want a better life for themselves and their children) but their actions are illegal. They should be willing to endure the consequences of their actions if they have broken the law.

They are all HUMAN BEINGS in my book, and that means I can only see that first & foremost. The rest of the gumph is politiics, racism, bigoted selfishness, greed and ignorance.

How society regards these PEOPLE is shameful!
Calling them "illegals" "economic migrants" "scoungers" etc.

To the people who say "keep them out, they're vermin," I say this:

Put yourself in their shoes for one day. You'd soon change your mind about labelling them so conveniently!

You try standing in a food queue, when you've not eaten for 5 days, along with 100's of others, knowing you have no way of ever scraping an existence.
You try trasping across barren deserts with your pregnant wife and / or starving children, arriving at a barbed fence only to be told "go back home" by soldiers with smirks...
before you condemn them (further).

If you haven't had any experience of suffering, or any compassion or empathy for your fellow HUMAN BEINGS, you really should think twice before spouting that (Nazi-type of) exclusion is "right."

unlawful immigrants are right here because of the fact they are drawn right here. they are entitled to few if any reward as illegals. besides the undeniable fact that it is agencies LUST for low-fee hard paintings that brings them right here and keeps them right here. won't business enterprise in basic terms pass sit down and a nook and sulk if it may no longer get each and every of the cheap hard paintings it needs?

Illegal immigrants are illegal no matter how you look at it or what another Country has done. If the immigrant wants to live in America, they need to come here legally, as my ancestors did.
