Slope = Rise/Run

Slope = 7.5/12.27 = 0.61

could it be like finding the hypothenuse

s^2 = (7.5)^2 + (12.27)^2
s^2 = 56.25 + 150.5529
s^2 = 206.8029
s = sqrt206.8029
s = 14.38 ft ==> my answer
