when i turn on the computer it say master boot record error it said system disk failure but the other day it just working fine i didn't do anything wrong and it cause the annoying problem make me can't log on to my other pc.

This error is telling your that your hard drive can't be read, or it has died. Try unplugging both the IDE cable and the power cable, and then plugging them back in. If that doesn't help you may be able to save this machine by running the "repair console".

Also you should check your BIOS to see if the Primary hard drive is recognized.

The Master Boot Record on your hard drive has become corrupted, which prevents your PC finding any of the files on the hard drive, including the critical Windows files that allow you to actually use Windows itself. Repairing it is do-able if you've got a copy of the Windows CD to hand. Instructions are here:

Does you hard disk drive make a "clicking" noise if it does it is dead take it out of the computer. Take it apart and inside you will find to VERY strong magnets you can use on the refrigerator. Or if you have a metal door you can use them on that instead.

I'm not really sure abt this. But when you switch on your pc, did you chk if there is any diskette in your 31/2 floppy (A) drive?

If do, try removing it and press any button........
This might be e problem!!!!
