We all know it... The harder the better. Yet the neighbours might not appreciate contact sounds, and besides that - squeeking beds distract like nothing other while getting it on.
Please help!

The bed does not have a headboard, it's a convertable sofa. El cheapo - I know. Porbably it's hinges, yet - how to find where the squeek is coming from?

we had this problem pull the bed away from the wall so the headboard won't bang and it may help with the noise also tighten any loose screws nuts and bolts etc and this has helped with the squeaky thing too if the squeaky thing is still too loud i don't know what to tell you except every action has a reaction and we all know your neighbors are kicking it too and they should be happy that you are getting yours especially if they are not who knows you might get into a squeaky competition as well as a OH MY GOD competition well go knock some boots have fun

Could be the headboard/footboard connections are loose. You may want to run a piece of wood (2x2) from the headboard to the footboard to eliminate movement.
