He doesn't have anything about it on his website. He lists the books that have been optioned for films as well as ones in production. He only talks about the Marvel comics in regard to the Dark Tower. The newest book was released in March.

I know "The Gunslinger" has been consiedered.. However i seem to recall them saying it was too big a project all though i cant figure out why.
Only way to do taht series is one book at a time like LOTR

i have heard that J.J Abrams is to adapt the series into movies. i also heard that Damon Lindelof is a strong canidate to write the screenplay.
