My cat, Igloo, is an escape artist! At least once a day he gets out on me! We play hide and seek a while and then he lets me catch him.

OMG... don't even get me started about that stupid cat. this occurred not even two hours ago. She is a house cat and ran out the door when I open it. I chased that stupid cat all over the yard. I finally went and got the fish net, only way I caught her.... wanted to just leave her trapped in the net for the remainder of the night....

Yesterday as a matter of fact.

I was trying to leave for work and the little butt-head slipped out the door. I didn't realy chase him, I followed him to the end of the porch calling him to come back. He thought this was really funny, and jumped off the porch and sat in the middle of the front yard laughing at me.

So I left him there and went on my way. He didn't think it was nearly so funny after he spent the day outside separated from his precious food bowl.

Betcha next time he'll get his fluffy butt in here when I tell him to!

You don't 'chase' a cat to catch it, you talk them into 'letting' you catch them.

An hour ago. When the morning is nice I leave the front door open. The neighbors cat thinks that is an invite for him to help himself to my cats breakfast. So just got through running his butt out.

Day before yesterday. When the carrier come out, she ran like the wind (She knows that means a Vet visit)! I caught her though, she was hiding under the bed.
